Ms. Marshall's Blogmosphere

From the words we learned of last week from the homonym list, choose one set.  Write one complete sentence using one of the words, and one sentence using the other word (two sentences total).  Explain how you will remember the difference between these words when you are writing (either a hint or some other explanation).  If someone has already used the word set you have used, it is OK, but all work must be original – different sentences and comments.

Remember to use your last name and first initial in the subject area.  Example:

Now that you have researched Poe’s life and works, share ONE fact, idea or observation about the man.

Here is the catch – you must post an ORIGINAL idea.  If someone posts what you wanted to say, you cannot say “what I wanted to say has already been said,” or something like that.

Once again, remember that this is an academic assignment, and formal language is expected.  I need to see an improvement in your spelling and grammar.  On the last blog assignment, it appeared to me that you did not take the time to check your work thoroughly.

This time, your grade depends upon how well you show your knowledge of the subject as well as your use of grammar and spelling.  Last time, you received credit just for posting.  Let’s up the ante, OK?  Don’t know what ante means?  A dictionary is your best friend
